So, I'm leaving for Shiprock, New Mexico in about 6 hours and 55 minutes. I just checked what the weather would be like when we arrive. Ninety two degrees...92! That's hot. Given the fact that Shiprock is not an especially tree-lined place, I may have to bring sunscreen.

The last time I was in Shiprock was 8 years ago. My life wasn't as complicated back then and I was young. A mere 24-years old. Oh wow...I suddenly feel old.
Anyhow, I'm going with a friend who has to attend the funeral of a family member and I'm getting a little stir-crazy. So, I figured a short trip might bring me back some perspective and motivation to find a job. Going to the rez always does that for me.
