A Little ♥ and Soul

So, you remember from the last post when I said things were "a-changin'"? Well, they are. I'm moving to Hillsboro, Oregon. ETA: November 1st, but probably November 4th so I can at least finish the pay period instead of leaving in the middle of it. Anyway, here's a quick list of things I bet you didn't know about Hillsboro: *It's near the ghost town of Idiotville, Oregon. Real place. Wiki or google it. *What Draper, Utah is to SLC is exactly what Hillsboro is unto Portland. Almost the same place. *Has AMAZING parks and waterfalls. *All voting is done by mail. Secretly, I'm a little bummed about not getting a "I voted" sticker. Okay, so I could only really think of 4 things that you might not have known about Hillsboro or the surrounding area. My dad had his birthday 2 days ago. Sixty-two years old! That's old...I can't fathom that my oldest brother is getting closer to 40 and that I'm going to turn the big 3-oh in a couple days. It's weird. This getting "old" business is just plain wacky and a little melancholy. I hear 30 isn't bad. I hear 60 isn't bad. I'm not sure I want to believe those people who say age is just a number. I guess in reality it is just a number, but these lines around my eyes are telling me that I'm not going to pull off being told that I look at least 5 years younger than I really am for much longer. Anyway, happy birthday to my numero uno daddy-0! Happy 62 years and hopefully much more to come!
