Lent and stuff...

So, Lent is going pretty well. Except for today. I procrastinated getting out of bed this morning and completely slept through my classes. I still need a little more work on the whole soda thing...what can I say? I'm a work in progress. I went to see Dr. Springer yesterday for my semi-annual diabetes check. I've always known that I'm a good weight maintainer and my appointment only confirmed that. So I need to get back on the exercise bandwagon and lose some more. I'd like to lose at least 80 lbs by the end of the summer. I think that'd be the ideal. I've sort of started my new "diet" today. I had cashews and yogurt this morning for breakfast. I just need to catch up on my water consumption and take my prenatal vitamin. Oh yeah...I'm taking prenatal vitamins. Mostly to make my hair grow a bit thicker. When I asked Dr. Springer if it was okay that I was taking them she said that the other medication I'm taking for my diabetes kind of depletes my

From the mouth of babes...

"Enzo you need to put on your seat belt" I told him a couple days ago. "It's really important that you wear your seat belt at all times" "No it's not," he said, "It's not important at all. There are only 3 important things in the world: work, surf, and chocolate" word.

Oh my gosh...

I totally forgot that Lent starts today. Geez...I am such a slacker. I didn't even celebrate Mardi Gras correctly. Again with the slacker tendencies. Man. Okay. So far so good for this whole Lent thing. I wanted so badly to go to a big Catholic church and do the whole ash on my forehead thing but I feel a little blasphemous for wanting to do that. I mean, I could but seeing as I'm not technically Catholic... although, I think it'd be kind of cool to see how the whole ash on your forehead thing goes down. hm... I may have to take a quick trip to a Catholic church and see what's what for Ash Wednesday. Anyone want to come??

AP Slacker 101

Okay, I'm going to apologize in advance. I currently have overly sweet hot chocolate coursing through my veins right now and am having a bit of a sugar rush. Seriously. I'm shaking a little bit. So, I'm sorry if this blog is completely random and doesn't make sense. On with the post . So, yes. I got a 5 on my AP test for slacker. I get a big fat A for being one. Believe me. I had a homework assignment due today in one of my classes and guess who slacked and didn't show up to class on Friday to hear about the assignment? Yeah, that'd be me. Guess who didn't care to look on Blackboard to see if there were any assignments assigned from the day I missed? Yeah, me again. I've earned that big fat A in slacker 101 pretty darn well. I love etsy.com and I want to buy everything I see on there. It's quite the illness. Someone please give me lots of money to buy pretty things. Including this. K. Thanks. :) I want to buy a camera soon. But I'm not sure wha

Lent

So, I'm doing Lent this year. 40 days of going without....something. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to give up for the next 6 weeks. But I'm sure it'll be beneficial. I've come up with a short list of things that I thought that would be good to give up for lent. Here's my list: procrastination saying dude and like carbonation I think I may do all three. A friend of mine gave up all carbonation for Lent and she said that it was enlightening. I could do with some enlightenment. It could come in handy with school. Anyhow, my business computer teacher is trying to figure out why her Excel sheet tabs aren't showing...she found them. Dang
