Mi vida parte dos

Dear Life,

I guess I shouldn't have been so hard on you the other night. Things worked out and I'm thankful that you took mercy on my pitiful situation to let me slide a little. I'm thankful that you were able to put the right people into my path. I seriously thought that I was going to have to haul a ton of stuff to Goodwill, but now I don't. Ends up people needed my stuff and are coming to pick it up. Thank goodness for Freecycle. I'd be in a definite pickle without their service available to the masses via internet.

So thanks. Now, I just need a place to live for 3 and half weeks and I'll be golden. Wanna help a sister out with that?? Please?

K, thanks.
Joyce

I'm obsessed with freecycle :) With the pick up part and especially getting nice kid stuff for free part. I'm glad it all worked out for you!

Done

I am so happy that I'm done moving! Now comes the almost unwelcome task of unpacking. As it would have it, I've moved into a smaller space and I need to throw out a few things. Maybe, once everything is cleaned up, I'll take pictures. My younger brother, the previous tenant of the space, has left the bathroom a complete mess. Thank goodness for Scrubbing Bubbles and some pretty amazing toilet cleaner. It'll probably take a another day or two to get the shower to the point where I won't be afraid to shower in it. Its pretty nasty I tell you. Anyway, I'm running out of things to write about today. I'm not feelin' it...

No time

It's been roughly 5 weeks since I last posted anything. Work and school have almost literally sucked the life out of me. My dad and I just got internet at the house, which does make things a lot easier. Even then...I really don't have time to do any real studying. Here's a typical day for me: 7 a.m. alarm goes off. try to wake up. press snooze a couple of times. wouldn't be human if i didn't, right? 7:15 a.m. actually get out of bed 7:20 a.m. shower 7:30 a.m. get dressed for work 7:40 a.m. try to remember to: fill my water bottle grab a can of soup & crackers for lunch grab CNA books & supplies eat something on the way out the door then curse myself for forgetting to grab my smock and name tag. unlock/lock the front door, again. 7:45 a.m. drive to work 8 a.m - 4 p.m work 4 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. take coworker(s) home. 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. CNA class 9:15 p.m. change into pj's. find s...

Hooray!

I've lost 9.2 pounds in the last 6 days. I'm excited! The picture really doesn't have anything to do with weight loss per se, but it does have the word reduce on it and I took the picture, so I'm putting it up. :-]
