All Blown Up and Stuff...

So, the "family" computer pretty much blew up. The hard-drive fried its own brain on a dare, apparently. So along with all my pictures, my English papers from last semester are now lost. It kind of sucks that I have lost MONTHS of work. Bleh...anyway, it feels like it's been MONTHS since I've been on the internet. Seriously. Who knew that life without home access to the internet would be so...boring.

Right now, I've commandeered my brother's laptop to get some blogging out of my system. I've been craving my blog. Not so much Facebook or my email. I can check those from my phone, but my blog. My heck! I've been going through blogging withdrawls like crazy and really, it's only been a couple days since I've been without. Okay. It's really only been 2 days since I've been without internet.

Anyway, I really don't have anything to update the blog-o-sphere on. Other than I've recently finished the Matrix trilogy and have watched the newer Pride and Prejudice this weekend. I could discuss, at length, my love for Pride and Prejudice. I love Jane Austen.

Okay, well, I suppose that 2:30 am is a perfectly respectable bedtime for someone who slept in WAY too long. Although, I popped in season 7 of Gilmore Girls and I kind of want to finish the first DVD.

I didn't realize you liked Jane Austen! You'd think I would have known that about you. Did you get to see the new Masterpiece Theatre "Emma"? Soooo much better than the Gwenyth? Paltrow one, though Mr. Knightly was much more handsome in that one than in the new one. We'll have to have a Jane Austen chat sometime. Love ya!

It's Okay to Be Sad

I'm sitting in my room nursing a 7-up because I ate too much cheese with my dinner. Being lactose sensitive, edging on completely intolerant, totally sucks. Sometimes dairy doesn't bother my stomach too much, but I guess eating cheese on a completely empty stomach wasn't the greatest idea but damn, that artichoke and spinach cheese dip was delicious. Done

I am so happy that I'm done moving! Now comes the almost unwelcome task of unpacking. As it would have it, I've moved into a smaller space and I need to throw out a few things. Maybe, once everything is cleaned up, I'll take pictures. My younger brother, the previous tenant of the space, has left the bathroom a complete mess. Thank goodness for Scrubbing Bubbles and some pretty amazing toilet cleaner. It'll probably take a another day or two to get the shower to the point where I won't be afraid to shower in it. Its pretty nasty I tell you. Anyway, I'm running out of things to write about today. I'm not feelin' it...

Reasons

So, you remember from the last post when I said things were "a-changin'"? Well, they are. I'm moving to Hillsboro, Oregon. ETA: November 1st, but probably November 4th so I can at least finish the pay period instead of leaving in the middle of it. Anyway, here's a quick list of things I bet you didn't know about Hillsboro: *It's near the ghost town of Idiotville, Oregon. Real place. Wiki or google it. *What Draper, Utah is to SLC is exactly what Hillsboro is unto Portland. Almost the same place. *Has AMAZING parks and waterfalls. *All voting is done by mail. Secretly, I'm a little bummed about not getting a "I voted" sticker. Okay, so I could only really think of 4 things that you might not have known about Hillsboro or the surrounding area.
