So, it's been almost a month since I've updated anything on the internet. I figured since I was spending my amazon.com gift card, I might as well see what everyone is up to in cyber-land. Apparently, I've missed a lot. Not so much that I'm too far behind, but enough that I feel kind of bad for not keeping up.
I haven't had that busy of a month. Just work. I'm actually down to 1 job now. Hopefully I'll be able to find another job with the City of Provo and ditch the gas station job all together....hopefully. I'm really tired of all the drama that happens there. Who knew that with only 8 employees there would enough drama to drive me crazy. Drama includes: creepy co-worker who likes to poke girls in the side and try to tickle them (I yelled at him today and told him to knock it off), a missing envelope that contains at least $75 in change from a frequent customer and friend of the boss and people just not liking each other altogether. Most places I've worked, people have at least liked each other to play nice while at work and no one has ever stolen that amount of money from work and most people know about the personal space clause. I mean really, does anyone not know about the personal space clause? Sometimes I'll touch someone while talking to them. Like on the arm or the shoulder. But that's only if I'm comfortable with them and actually know who they are.
Uh...let's see...what else? ... Two friends of mine are getting married next week. My younger brother and his girlfriend of two and half years are finally getting married in May. It seems that a lot of people have been getting married in the past six months or so. I'm glad people are finding compatible mates and all, but lets spread the wealth and time frame here people!
Christmas and New Year's were spent with friends and family. My 2 roommates were gone for the majority of the holiday break and I just about went crazy. My furnace makes funny noises and my vent apparently likes to exacerbate the sound the furnace makes. Coupled with my imagination and being home alone for nearly 2 weeks...well, lets just say that I spent the night on the living room couch far from my vent and if by chance I did sleep in my bed, I fell asleep with a relaxing cd on loud enough to drown out the noise.
Oh and tis the season to go to the doctor. Since diabetes runs pretty high in my family, I get to take a 3 hour glucose test...did I mention that I have to fast for at least 8 hours before?? Its not big deal really, but the test has to be ordered by a doctor and the test itself costs at 100 big ones. Guess who doesn't have medical insurance OR 100 buckaroos?? If you guessed me, than you're right! I don't have the money to go see the doctor just for him to order a glucose test and then spend 4 hours of my time in a lab that will cost me a third of my rent. So I'm a little stressed out about that. I need to take the test. I need to do a lot of things that cost lots of money that I don't have.
Ugh...stress....
Oh by the way, I'm trying to give up soda all together. I tried to go cold turkey. I didn't make it past day 4. So I decided to work my way towards the goal. I tried giving up caffiene. Didn't quite make it past day 6. So now I'm working on only consuming Diet Coke. So far so good. I drink my doctor recommended 64 ounces of water on a daily basis. I only have soda 3 days a week. I'm going to try and cut it down to only 2 days a week and then to only 1 and then to none. Hopefully I can do this before the end of the month. This goal is on my short term goal list.
Needless to say, I pee a lot.
Oh! My very long term goal is to move to Hawaii in the year 2010. I wanted to move to California for a little bit. Hm...maybe it can still happen. Ugh...but then I have to do the tax thing for multiple states and thats never any fun. I'll have to come up with a plan. Maybe California for 6 months and then Hawaii for the rest of the time.
Maybe I shouldn't worry about it just yet? I still have to get my current money/job/health situation in check first before I go off traispaising around the world with my sister. After that, then I am going to look for jobs and get a hot body (hopefully) by the time I move.
Anyway, that's about it. My hands are feeling really stiff now. I think I might have carpal tunnel or arthrities.
Wouldn't that suck?
